The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects, ensuring that all aspects of the job are accounted for. The Estimator will work closely with project managers and clients to provide detailed bids and respond to RFIs, helping to drive the success of our projects. We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects, ensuring that all aspects of the job are accounted for. The Estimator will work closely with project managers and clients to provide detailed bids and respond to RFIs, helping to drive the success of our projects. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects
- Review and analyze blueprints and project specifications to determine scope and requirements
- Conduct takeoffs to quantify materials and labor needed for projects
- Prepare and submit competitive bids in a timely manner
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to clarify project requirements and respond to RFIs
- Maintain organized records of estimates, bids, and project correspondence
- Continuously update knowledge of industry trends and best practices in estimating and construction
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the commercial construction industry
- Strong proficiency in takeoffs and blueprint reading
- Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate and competitive bids
- Experience in responding to RFIs and collaborating with project teams
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project is a plus
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
