Summary
Perform a variety of maintenance, software installation, end-user support and training tasks to ensure end-user workstations, systems and network meet Company and user requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned:
  • Provision laptops (Windows/Mac)
  • Onboarding/off boarding Users
  • Deprovision laptops to company standards
  • Maintain Confidentiality regarding information being processed, stored, or accessed by the end-users on the network.
  • Mobility Maintenance - Enrolling/setting up devices and shipping to new users
  • ct as a third level support for IT Support Technicians and first level of support for IT Support Analyst
  • Perform off-site hardware upgrades when applicable.
  • Performing System patching
  • Perform system backups
  • Monitor scheduled jobs to ensure they run correctly and if not escalate/re-run as appropriate
  • User management
  • On-call rotation
  • Enter, track, resolve, triage, escalate incidents entered into company ITSM solution when reported (could be via email, chat, phone calls, or in person)
  • Equipment Tracking
  • System maintenance related to iSeries and Windows environments
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate's Degree from a two-year college or technical school in a related field preferred
  • minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in an Information Technology support role
  • Information Technology skills, including Microsoft Office, Windows, TCP/IP and VPN
  • bility to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel
  • bility to install, configure and maintain personal computers, networks and related hardware and software
  • Knowledge of computer and/or network security systems, applications, procedures and techniques
  • bility to identify and resolve computer system malfunctions and operations issues
  • Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • bility to learn and support new systems and applications
  • Must be self-driven
