The Manufacturing Solutions group within The Test Equipment Engineering directorate is seeking an onsite
Test Equipment Manufacturing Team Lead
to manage and lead the acquisition and manufacturing of Test Equipment. The Team Lead will resolve complex test equipment and prototype manufacturing issues based on a broad knowledge of the engineering design, need, and final intended application.
This position includes generating and monitoring the progression of multiple requisitions through the procurement cycle, facilitating resolution of procurement issues to include SSJ and Tech Evaluation (supply chain forms) ownership, and ensuring items are delivered to meet our customers schedules.
The Team Lead will utilize our Engineering Manufacturing Management System (EMMS) to generate work orders, build/maintain indentured bill of materials (IBOMS), generate material requisitions, and provide material/work order status to customers.
This position is
100% ONSITE
in Tucson, Arizona.
What You Will Do Actively contribute to the design, acquisition, and manufacturing of complex test equipment including cables, chassis, electro/mechanical fixtures and racks
Assist in resolving complex manufacturing issues and oversee delivery of final products to internal/external customers
Lead process document updates and configuration control for the department
Collaborate with Material Operations and support plant clearance/disposition activities
Directly mentor Manufacturing Planners
Participate in department metric reporting
Lead onboarding and training of new hires
Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a Bachelors in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience with engineering drawings related to electrical instrumentation, assemblies, cables, chassis, and/or electro-mechanical assemblies
Prior experience as a Manufacturing Planner
Experience with EMMS (Engineering Manufacturing Management System)
Experience working with Supply Chain, such as initiating requisitions and interfacing with vendors
US Citizen - Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
