*Overview:*
Join the Data Architecture team focused on building real-time and batch serverless integrations for a modern data lake environment. You'll develop cloud-native solutions that connect enterprise apps and third-party data providers, ensuring secure and efficient data flows. This role requires strong Python/Java development skills, AWS expertise, and the ability to collaborate in an Agile environment.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native serverless integrations using Python or Java.
* Build and optimize data flows across AWS services and databases (Redshift, DynamoDB, Snowflake, Aurora, etc.).Ja
* Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and adherence to design best practices.
* Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
* Mentor developers, manage tasks effectively, and contribute to continuous improvement.
* Stay current on new technologies and deliver scalable solutions from scratch.
*Required Skills:*
* Proficient in *Python or Java*, AWS SDK, and related frameworks.
* Hands-on experience with *AWS serverless technologies*: Lambda, Glue, SQS, Step Functions, API Gateway, CloudFormation, S3, etc.
* Expertise in *data integration* and working with varied data formats (JSON, XML, Parquet, delimited, etc.).
* Experience with *cloud data warehouses* (Redshift, Azure, Snowflake).
* Strong knowledge of *NoSQL* (e.g., MongoDB) and *Relational* databases (e.g., Oracle).
* Proficient in *Git*, unit testing, debugging, and Agile/Scrum methodology.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
*Preferred Qualifications:*
* Familiarity with *CI/CD*, Jenkins, Travis CI, and DevOps practices.
* Experience with *ETL tools* (e.g., Informatica) and *BI tools* (e.g., Domo, Cognos).
* Understanding of performance tuning, caching, and load balancing.
* Background in Life Insurance or Annuities is a plus.
