$1990 - $2130 ER Registered Nurse Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience At least 1 year of ER travel nursing experience preferred Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications Proven skills in IV administration, IV starts, ventilator care, and telemetry monitoring Successful completion of pharmacology and basic arrhythmia exams Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written) Preferred: TNCC, ENPC, and PALS certifications; de-escalation certification course completion Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in a fast-paced ER setting Administer medications and monitor patient responses Guide and supervise ancillary healthcare personnel Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation Document comprehensive assessments, including physical, psychological, social, and discharge planning Collaborate with allied healthcare providers to coordinate patient care Serve as charge nurse and resource for ER nursing staff as needed Participate in staff meetings, mandatory training, and ongoing professional development Adhere to hospital safety and infection control protocols Represent the hospital and healthcare team professionally within the community Deliver exceptional service to patients, families, visitors, and colleagues Perform additional duties as assigned by nursing supervisor
