Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) - Level II/III Location:
San Tan Valley, Arizona (Zip: 85140) Assignment Duration:
13 weeks (Start: 10/20/2025, End: 1/19/2026) Nursing Shift:
12 Hour Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Hours per Week:
36 Guaranteed Hours:
24 per week Estimated Weekly Salary:
$1990-$2130 Employment Type:
Travel Nurse (locum tenens) On-Call & Weekends:
Schedule determined by facility Registered Nurse Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of current NICU nursing experience
(required) Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA) - must be active at time of application No license restrictions Travel nursing experience preferred Flu vaccination required (declinations considered) Valid driver's license (AZ home address not eligible) Compliance with facility-specific background checks NICU Nurse Responsibilities
Deliver compassionate, expert care to neonates in a Level II/III NICU Monitor and assess infants, administer medications, and manage ventilators and specialized equipment Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals Educate and support families throughout their NICU experience Maintain accurate documentation and follow all facility protocols Participate in on-call and weekend rotations as scheduled
