52 hours (includes modules and e-learning) Charting System:
Epic EMR Estimated Weekly Pay:
$2030-$2170 per week ER RN Job Requirements
Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License (required at time of submission) BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA or American Red Cross, current at submission) Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) system Previous community hospital nursing experience required Clinical experience providing emergency care to neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients Ability to work every other weekend and occasional back-to-back weekends Available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing Two recent professional nursing references (within the last year) Completion of required orientation modules ER Nurse Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced ER environment Perform triage, patient assessment, and prioritize emergency care needs Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products as indicated Manage trauma, neuro-trauma, and medical emergencies including STEMI, stroke, and pediatric cases Interpret arterial blood gases, cardiac dysrhythmias, and manage ventilators Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and social services Maintain accurate patient documentation using Epic EMR Follow isolation precautions and infection control protocols Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical education modules
