Facilities Maintenance Technician - LSG Sky Chefs
This position is responsible for ensuring building and production equipment is operating properly. Responsibilities include and are not limited to the following:
Commercial Kitchen equipment repair including ovens, mixers, grills, fryers, etc... Exterior/Interior Building Electrical and Mechanical diagnosis and repair Commercial Kitchen Dishwasher Machine diagnosis and repair Various Plumbing tasks including diagnosis and repair on sinks, toilets, and piping Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) diagnosis and repair Boilers/Hot Water Generation diagnosis and repair, including electrical water heaters Lighting Replacement to include bulbs and complete assemblies Basic Carpentry, to include patchwork, framing, and painting Maintain a clean and professional working environment Follow cleaning standards set forth by leadership Elevate problem areas with department supervisors and/or leadership Follow all Safety Requirements established by leadership Complete other duties as assigned Qualifications:
5+ years prior Facility Maintenance experience and/or a combination of Vocation certification with 2-5+ years of Facility Maintenance experience Knowledge of Commercial Kitchen Cooking Equipment Knowledge of Industrial Dish Machine Operations Knowledge of Refrigeration and HVAC principles, operations, and repair Electrical circuit familiarization (120v, 220v, 480v) Welding Experience preferred Detail-oriented and good communication skills Comply with all work rules and regulations Must be able to work in a high tempo environment with often changing priorities Must be able to stand, bend, lift and move intermittently during shift of 8+ hours Must have good organizational skills and adapt to frequent environment changes Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor Ability to speak, read and understand English Work with LSG Sky Chefs team members to ensure the highest quality product and service is delivered to our airline customers Must be able to climb ladders and stairs Must be able to lift and push up to 50+ lbs. Must be flexible to work any shift/hours subject to change due to shift bidding Valid Drivers License will be required
