Active Illinois RN license required Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring certifications Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of Breese, IL Strong communication and teamwork skills Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities
Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to women and infants throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum Monitor maternal and fetal status, interpret fetal monitoring strips, and respond to patient condition changes Assist with labor induction, pain management, and delivery procedures Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and healthcare professionals for optimal patient outcomes Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety standards
