Job Description:
Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is currently seeking a Completions Manager reporting to the Senior Vice President, Development Operations. This position will be responsible for leading and optimizing completions operations and cost in the Permian Basin. The ideal candidate will partner closely with operations, engineering, geosience and leadership teams to ensure safe, efficient, and innovative completions programs that maximize well performance and capital efficiency.
General responsibilities: Provide technical leadership and oversight of all completions activities at Permian Resources. Review, plan, and execute completions programs, including hydraulic fracturing, well intervention, and drillout operations. Leverage operational data, real-time analytics, and field intelligence to drive continuous improvement in efficiency, costs, and well performance. Collaborate with field supervisors and service providers to ensure flawless execution of completions programs. Develop and implement best practices for well completions, aligning with corporate safety, environmental, and operational standards. Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control measures related to completions activities. Mentor and develop completions engineers and superintendents. Ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline; advanced degree a plus. 8+ years of oil and gas industry experience, with a minimum of 5 years focused on completions. Strong field exposure in the Permian Basin highly preferred. Proven track record of managing and executing large-scale completions operations. Deep technical expertise in completions design, hydraulic fracturing, fluid systems, perforation strategy, and well integrity. Strong analytical and data management skills, with the ability to interpret real-time and historical datasets to inform decisions. Excellent budgeting, cost, and efficiency data tracking. Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
