Your Responsibilities Include Performing comprehensive evaluations of patients, ordering necessary diagnostic procedures, and developing tailored care strategies Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health conditions both independently and in concurrence with physicians (as per credentialing) Guiding patients and their families in health promotion, disease prevention, and wellness initiatives Prescribing medications and treatment regimens within the defined scope of practice Engaging in continuous patient follow-up and chronic disease management Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide well-rounded, cohesive care Maintaining detailed and precise documentation in electronic medical records (EMR) Qualifications You Must Hold
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Licensure and Certifications Required
Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Virginia National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to acquire within 90 days) Exceptional Skills to Bring
