Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Nursing Job in Concord, Massachusetts

Psychiatric RN Job Details

• Location: Concord, MA 01742 (Massachusetts psychiatric nursing jobs)
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Healthcare Setting: Inpatient Psychiatric Unit
• Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00pm – 11:30pm)
• Shift Duration: 8-hour evening shifts
• Shifts per Week: 5
• Hours per Week: 32-40
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,500 – $3,540

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts or compact state
• At least 1 year of recent psychiatric or mental health nursing experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based healthcare environment
  
  

Psych RN Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based nursing care to patients with psychiatric and behavioral health conditions
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized mental health care plans
• Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and document outcomes
• Work closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient recovery
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure patient confidentiality
• Respond to psychiatric emergencies and utilize de-escalation techniques as needed
