Registered Nurse Job Details

• Location: Atlanta, Georgia (Zip: 30329) – Georgia nursing jobs
• Healthcare Setting: Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Unit
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens (Travel Nursing Contract)
• Start Date: September 15, 2025
• End Date: December 13, 2025
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Shifts: 3x12 hour day shifts (7:00am – 7:30pm), every other weekend required
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1780-$1830
• Scrub Color: Any color

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia or compact state at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required; 2+ years of pediatric hematology/oncology nursing experience preferred
• BLS, PALS, and APHON Chemotherapy certification required
• NURSYS Report with verification of all active RN licenses
• Flu vaccination required for the 2025-2026 season (no exemptions accepted)
• Nicotine-free facility (testing required)
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to pediatric hematology/oncology patients
• Administer chemotherapy and monitor for adverse reactions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to support patients and families
• Provide patient education and excellent customer service
• Support fellow nurses and contribute to a positive healthcare team environment
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and clinical standards
