Location: Atlanta, GA 30329

Setting: Pediatric Surgery Operating Room (AMB)

Employment Type: Locum tenens / Travel RN contract

Start Date: October 20, 2025

End Date: January 17, 2026

Duration: 13-week contract

Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM (8-hour shifts)

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Call: Required – minimum of two 4-hour, two 8-hour, and two 12-hour shifts per 6-week period

Estimated Weekly Salary: $2330–$2390

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room
• Assist surgical teams with Neuro, Ortho, ENT, General, and Eye procedures
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC EMR
• Participate in required on-call rotation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Adhere to all facility policies, including infection control and patient safety protocols

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or compact state)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room (OR RN) experience, including travel nurse assignments
• Current BLS, PALS, PEARS, CNOR, and CST certifications
• Proven experience with Neuro, Ortho, ENT, General, and Eye surgeries
• Pediatric OR nursing experience preferred
• EPIC EMR proficiency required
• Two recent OR Supervisor/Manager references
• Completed skills checklist for perioperative nursing specialty
• Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
• Nicotine-free status (testing required with drug screen)
