Overview

Sentara Health is currently hiring for an RN to work at Sentara Norfolk General on the Endoscopy Unit.

Responsibilities and Work Information

Hours/Shift: Full Time – 36 hours per week. Shift start time varies between 6:15 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. Circulating, scrubbing, preop, postop. On Call is required during the week and every 3rd weekend. Types of cases: Bronchoscopy, Colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, Manometry, Small Bowel Endoscopy, EUS, EBUS. Unit completes approximately 15 – 25 patients per day. One to two years of prior RN experience in med/surg is acceptable. Endoscopy, Endo, Outpatient, Surgery, Surgical.

Requirements

• REQUIRED: minimum of 1 year previous hospital experience required, Endoscopy experience preferred.


• ADN required, BSN or higher preferred.


• RN License in good standing.
