Travel Nursing Job Details

Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,750 - $1,870

• Location: Bullhead City, AZ 86442
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel contract
• Start Date: August 25, 2025
• Shift: 06:30 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday (8-hour shifts)
• Hours per Week: 40
• On Call: Required as needed; on-call duties split among staff
• Setting: Hospital Operating Room (OR RN)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Preferred experience: endoscopy, urology, total joints, ortho trauma, general surgery (robotics with DaVinci Xi), ENT, vascular, podiatry, and laparoscopic procedures
• Strong clinical skills in critical thinking, communication, and teamwork
• Previous travel nursing experience in a fast-paced hospital environment highly desirable

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and demonstrate leadership in the operating room
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and healthcare team members to ensure safe and efficient surgical procedures
• Prepare and maintain necessary supplies and equipment for each case
• Communicate effectively with patients' families and the surgical team
• Update physician preference cards and assist with scrubbing and circulating duties
• Supervise and support personnel delivering patient care in the OR
• Comply with State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, hospital, and surgical department policies
