Travel Nursing Details

• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
• Location: King City, CA 93930 – Monterey County
• Start Date: October 20, 2025
• End Date: January 19, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm, 8-hour day shifts (as caseload dictates)
• Call: Required every 3rd weekend (with 3 nurses working) and weekday call as needed; self-scheduling available
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2330 - $2500

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered RN license (California preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room Registered Nurse experience
• Proficient in both Circulator and Scrub nurse roles
• Orthopedic and gynecological (Ortho and GYN) surgical experience required
• Current Nursing certification
• BLS certification (AHA required)
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation as scheduled
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and clinical support skills

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care as an OR RN, including Circulator and Scrub duties
• Assist with orthopedic and gynecological surgical procedures in a clinical setting
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain a sterile environment and follow infection control protocols
• Participate in on-call rotation as required for the operating room
• Accurately document all patient care activities and surgical procedures
• Support patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction throughout the perioperative process
