Locum Tenens Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift | Louisville, KY. Advance your nursing career as a Telemetry RN in Louisville, Kentucky (40202). This is a night shift contract in a leading hospital, providing essential clinical support during the holiday season.

Location: Louisville, KY 40202 – Downtown Louisville, close to parks, restaurants, and cultural attractions

Unit: Telemetry (4GHK*NH)

Contract Duration: 10 weeks (October 26, 2025 – January 3, 2026)

Shift: 12-hour night shifts (6:45pm – 7:15am), every other weekend

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Employment Type: Locum tenens, travel nursing contract

Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,910 - $1,960 (depending on experience and qualifications)

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments in a telemetry unit
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Monitor, interpret, and document patient responses to clinical interventions and cardiac monitoring
• Educate patients and families on care, treatment, and discharge planning
• Delegate and supervise tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel; serve as mentor and preceptor
• Promote teamwork and participate in quality, safety, and service improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and participate in Practice Governance

Qualifications

• Active Kentucky Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient or acute care RN experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – American Heart Association preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN) or Nursing Diploma
