Overview

Locum Tenens Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift | Louisville, KY. 13-week travel nursing assignment on the 5th floor Telemetry Unit. Night shifts. Location: Louisville, KY 40217.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing reassessments in accordance with hospital policy and patient condition.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Monitor, document, and evaluate patient responses to clinical interventions and treatments.
• Provide patient and family education throughout hospitalization and at discharge.
• Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff, serving as a mentor and preceptor to new nurses.
• Promote teamwork, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience.
• Active and valid RN license (Kentucky or compact state).
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification.
• Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN).
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
