Overview
Position Name: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Registered Nurse (RN)
Available Shifts:
- Days (Rotating Weekends)
- Nights (Rotating Weekends): URGENT NEED
Responsibilities
- Patient Advocacy: Serve as the advocate for your patients and their families, ensuring their privacy and confidentiality are protected.
- Instruction and Education: Educate patients and their families about medications, treatment plans, and what to expect during recovery.
- High-Focus Care: Provide critical care with attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement in all aspects of patient care.
Qualifications
- Experience: At least 1 year of recent acute care ICU RN experience. We are also open to candidates with 2+ years of PCU RN experience.
- Licensing: Active Florida RN license or multistate RN license. Compact license holders must obtain a Florida license within 60 days of relocation.
- Education: Associate Degree required; BSN preferred.
- Certifications:
- BLS within 30 days of hire
- ACLS within 90 days of hire
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, multitasking, and communication skills to effectively manage the care of patients in a high-intensity environment.
