RN Supervisor Job Details – Pennsylvania LTC Nursing Jobs

• Position Type: Locum tenens / Travel Registered Nurse Supervisor
• Healthcare Setting: Long-Term Care (LTC) / Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
• Location: Girard, PA 16417 (Erie County, Pennsylvania healthcare jobs)
• Shift: 8-hour night shifts (10:45pm – 7:00am), every other weekend required
• Hours: Guaranteed 38-40 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2100 - $2250
• Assignment Duration: 15 weeks (Start: 9/23/2025 – End: 1/6/2026)
• Orientation: 3 days, unit/department specific
• Dress Code: Professional scrubs (any color except camo)
• Charting System: PCC/POC (PointClickCare/Point of Care)

• Registered Nurse Supervisor Qualifications
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
• BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• At least 1 year of recent RN experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar healthcare setting
• Experience with PCC (PointClickCare) charting system preferred
• Competency in wound measurement (staging by NP weekly)
• Strong leadership, clinical, and communication skills
• Ability to work every other weekend and holidays as scheduled

RN Supervisor Responsibilities – Night Shift

• Supervise and support floor RNs, LPNs, and CNAs during overnight shifts
• Serve as building supervisor and primary clinical resource for staff
• Monitor resident conditions, respond to changes, and coordinate external healthcare services (lab, x-ray, etc.)
• Communicate with physicians (MD/NP) regarding resident needs and clinical issues
• Perform RN-specific procedures: central line care, chest tube management, IV starts, admission orders, and fall assessments
• Participate in care plan meetings for short-term stay residents
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and maintain high standards of resident care and safety
