Job Details
- Position Type: Locum tenens (Travel Registered Nurse)

- Shift: 12-hour night shifts
- Hours per Week: 36
- Assignment Duration: 6 weeks (Start: 8/28/2025 – End: 10/12/2025)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1880 - $2020
- Schedule: Every other weekend required
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Vermont or compact state)
- BLS certification through AHA
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in long-term care (LTC nursing experience required)
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Ability to float to other units as needed
- Reliable personal or rental vehicle required (no public transportation available)
- All-season or snow tires recommended November–April
- Complete work history required (including bed count, EMR experience, facility type, and explanation of employment gaps)
- Covid and flu declinations accepted (documentation required)
- Background check (7-year nationwide, county court, FACIS3, sex offender) within 18 months of start
- FACIS 3 and VCIC screening within 30 days of start
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Float to other nursing units as required
- Work every other weekend as part of the regular schedule
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records using electronic medical records (EMR)
- Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
