Overview

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Rehab RN for a 13 week travel assignment in Wichita, KS. You’ll have the opportunity to make a positive impact on patients while enjoying competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and the support of a dedicated clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Completes nursing assessment of patients on the unit and documents appropriately into patient records
• Prepare patients for surgery, including educating them about procedures and post-operative care
• Coordinates and provides holistic patient care, including mobility support, rehabilitation exercises, and activities of daily living (ADLs), while ensuring adherence to individualized care plans
• Monitors and evaluate patients’ responses to therapeutic interventions, documenting progress and communicating any deviations or concerns to the interdisciplinary team
• Safely administers prescribed medications and treatments ensuring proper documentation and compliance with safety protocols
• Maintains a clean, organized environment and ensures rooms are adequately stocked with necessary supplies and equipment to support rehabilitation care
• Assists with safe patient transport to and from therapy sessions, diagnostic procedures, or other care areas as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice
• Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Rehab RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS Certification
• NIHSS Certification
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position
