Fusion Medical Staffing is hiring: Rehab RN in Madison

Overview

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Rehab RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Madison, Wisconsin. Investigate competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and support from a dedicated clinical team as part of our travel nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Complete nursing assessment of patients on the unit and document appropriately into patient records
• Prepare patients for surgery, including educating them about procedures and post-operative care
• Coordinate and provide holistic patient care, including mobility support, rehabilitation exercises, and activities of daily living (ADLs), while ensuring adherence to individualized care plans
• Monitor and evaluate patients’ responses to therapeutic interventions, document progress, and communicate any deviations or concerns to the interdisciplinary team
• Safely administer prescribed medications and treatments with proper documentation and safety protocol compliance
• Maintain a clean, organized environment and ensure rooms are stocked with necessary supplies and equipment to support rehabilitation care
• Assist with safe patient transport to and from therapy sessions, diagnostic procedures, or other care areas as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice
• Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Rehab RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position
