• Shift: Day shifts, 3x12-hour (06:30 – 19:00), with on-call (weekdays, weekends, holidays as needed)
• Total Hours: 36 hours per week
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2000-$2050

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license (required at submission)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience (5 years preferred; strong specialty experience considered)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• PALS certification (preferred)
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system (required)
• Trauma Level II experience (required)
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Previous charge nurse experience (preferred)
• Travel nursing experience (highly preferred)

Responsibilities

• Circulate and/or scrub for diverse surgical procedures: general, neuro, ortho, trauma, and robotics
• Respond to codes and emergencies within the operating room
• Administer blood products and monitor conscious sedation
• Operate specialized surgical equipment (Da Vinci Xi, Mako Surgical System, Hana Table, etc.)
• Maintain strict infection control and patient safety protocols
• Accurately handle and label surgical specimens
• Participate in call rotation, including weekends and holidays as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care
