Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Rehab RN for a 13 week travel assignment in Salem, VA. The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or illnesses requiring rehabilitative treatment.

Responsibilities

• Complete nursing assessment of patients and document appropriately into patient records
• Prepare patients for procedures and educate them about perioperative care
• Coordinate and provide holistic patient care, including mobility support, rehabilitation exercises, and activities of daily living (ADLs), following individualized care plans
• Monitor and evaluate patients’ responses to therapeutic interventions; document progress and communicate deviations to the interdisciplinary team
• Safely administer prescribed medications and treatments with proper documentation and safety compliance
• Maintain a clean, organized environment and ensure rooms are stocked to support rehabilitation care
• Assist with safe patient transport to and from therapy sessions or other care areas
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice
• Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Required: One year of recent experience as a Rehab RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS Certification
• NIHSS Certification
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position
