Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Rehab RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Beachwood, Ohio. The Rehab RN provides comprehensive care to patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or illnesses requiring rehabilitative treatment. Responsibilities include nursing assessments, implementing care plans, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to promote optimal physical, functional, and emotional well-being.

Job Details

Location: Facility in Beachwood, Ohio

Term: 13-week travel assignment

Responsibilities

  • Complete nursing assessment of patients on the unit and document appropriately in patient records
  • Prepare patients for surgery and educate them about procedures and postoperative care
  • Coordinate and provide holistic patient care, including mobility support, rehabilitation exercises, and activities of daily living (ADLs), following individualized care plans
  • Monitor and evaluate patients’ responses to therapeutic interventions and communicate deviations or concerns to the interdisciplinary team
  • Safely administer prescribed medications and treatments with proper documentation and safety compliance
  • Maintain a clean, organized environment and ensure rooms are stocked with necessary supplies and equipment
  • Assist with safe patient transport to and from therapy sessions and other care areas as needed
  • Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice

Required Qualifications

  • One year of recent experience as a Rehab RN
  • Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
  • Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Preferred Qualifications

  • ACLS certification
  • NIHSS certification
  • Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position

  • Physical Abilities: ability to remain stationary, move about, move equipment (50-100 lbs), push, pull, and bend

  • Technical/Motor Skills: ability to handle procedures and operate department equipment
  • Mental Requirements: ability to work under pressure, maintain concentration, and adapt to irregular schedules
  • Sensory: visual acuity and effective communication
