- Other Details: Seeking an experienced Interventional Cardiologist to provide coverage on a locum basis, with a 24-hour call schedule where compensation is provided whether the provider works the full 24 hours or from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Coverage is needed January , February 23 March 1, March , and April 27 May 3, with daily on-call coverage from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and additional 5 p.m. to 7 a.m. call coverage on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The role involves an average of 3 consults and 2 procedures per day in a trauma level II setting with 18 ICU beds, 18 telemetry beds, and 10 CMU beds, supported by APPs during the day. Required skills include interventional cardiology procedures, balloon pumps, coronary stents, IVUs, and IFR, with TEE experience highly preferred. STEMI volume varies, with an average of three activations per week. Candidates must be board-certified in interventional cardiology, hold an active medical license or IMLC, have a clean malpractice history and background, and be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Local candidates are highly preferred, and providers must be able to cover most or all of the listed dates. Required documentation includes medical diplomas, training certificates, licenses, DEA, life support cards, insurance certificates, government-issued ID, headshot, CME records, immunizations, references, and case logs.
