Cardiology - Interventional Physician

Coverage Needed:

• Start Date: January 19, 2026
• Schedule: 7a-5p On Call every day; additional On Call coverage 5p-7a on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
• Coverage Type: Call coverage only (No Clinic)
• Specific Dates:
  • January 19th through 25th
  • February 23rd through March 1st
  • March 16th through 22nd
  • April 27 through May 3rd

Clinical Details:

• Inpatient only
• Patient volume: 3 consults per day, 2 procedures per day
• Trauma level II
• 18 ICU beds, 18 tele beds, 10 CMU beds
• APP support: 1-2 APPs staffed during weekdays, 1 APP for 5 hours/day on weekends
• Interventional cardiology procedures required
• Preferred procedures: TEE's
• Balloon pumps, coronary stents, IVUs, IFR
• STEMI volumes: Average 3 STEMI activations per week in 2020

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
• Active ID license or active IMLC (LOQ)
• Clean malpractice and no background
• Local candidates, no flights - Highly Preferred
• Must have COVID vaccine
• Must be able to cover most/all of the open dates
