The practice was first opened in 2006 by Dr. Thomas Weshefsky, well-known for his expertise in orthokeratology and a mentor to many Optometrists worldwide. As the practice continues to grow, the business is expanding and plans to add specialty care eye care services. What you do: As part of the team, you’ll work in a fun and energetic environment and provide care in a new 4,800-square-foot state-of-the-art clinic. With preliminary exam data captured by an enthusiastic team of Optometric Technicians who further assist as chairside scribes, you'll enjoy practicing face-to-face, full-scope optometry. The practice features new top-of-the-line equipment, including the Marco Epic Refraction system with OPD III Wave Front analyzer, digital refractors in the exam lanes, video slit lamps, Optos California, Optovue RTVue OCT Angiography, Oculus Eastfield, Oculus Keratograph 5M and Oculus AXL WAVE Pentacam. A dedicated dry eye suite offers Lipiflow, Lumenis IPL, Tempsure Envi RF, Marco Equinox LLLT, TearCare, and Blephex. Who we're seeking: If you're a self-motivated professional with excellent clinical and time management skills and genuinely want to improve patients' lives, you'll be a perfect fit for this role. This is an excellent opportunity to launch a long-term, rewarding career and work with the industry's best. You'll also have the option to train and advance your skills in orthokeratology, myopia control, specialty contact lenses, and scleral lenses. The position is 38 hours weekly, no evenings, and currently no Saturdays.
