Description The Media Operations Data and Execution (MODE) team within Amazon's Cross Channel Marketing (XCM) division seeks a data manager to lead our data operations processes. This role connects with product teams to deliver campaign insights that drive performance improvements. You will streamline data intake processes, manage validation protocols, and conduct analysis for models and reporting tools. Your core responsibilities include managing global data processing to identify risks, creating issue tickets for agency partners, and developing business logic for offline data collection (TV, Radio, Out-of-Home, Cinema).
Key responsibilities Lead weekly validation dashboard reviews and establish data quality criteria.
Identify root causes of data discrepancies across measurement and reporting teams and products.
Lead logic decisions for product teams on data for categorization and visualization; offline data will be provided by agencies.
About The Team MODE (Media, Operations, Data and Execution) Data Operations leverages our background in paid media to translate strategy into helpful insights for product development. We provide guidance on data categorization and visualization tooling, and address data issues operationally or with tooling adjustments.
Basic Qualifications 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
Experience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channels
Experience managing planning and buying for offline media (TV, Radio, OOH, Cinema, etc) to translate information to product team
Preferred Qualifications Experience managing external partners to develop marketing programs
Experience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives
Experience in a similar role translating logic to support the development of marketing solutions for media managers

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $98,200/year to $179,600/year, with possible additional compensation such as equity or sign-on payments depending on the role.
