Helps establish and implement projects, programs, and processes in support of the organization's overall supply chain strategy. Applies advanced knowledge of the Supply Network Planning field to establish best of class policies, procedures, and plans for the area. Role Responsibilities: Ensure service materials are available at target inventory levels to cover global usage and meet fill rate. Schedule all service materials including make assemblies from manufacturing, purchased parts from suppliers and repaired parts from the repair depot. Work closely with purchasing, manufacturing planning, repair depot, engineering, quality, customer service and document control. Set target stocking levels based on historical usage and based on input from product experts. Maintains appropriate target and reorder points to meet business fill rate targets. Minimize SLOB, perform excess and obsolete inventory reviews. Timely dispositions of materials; plan and reserve for EOL (End of Life) support. ECO (Engineering Change Order) review and implementation, work with service planner to structure and disposition to minimize impact to SLOB and service level. Analyze performance metrics for Service 3PL (Third Party Logistics) Regions, if not within target determine root cause and corrective action. Creates and maintains all SAP material master data including inventory targets in all spare parts service locations. Review quarterly the rebalance and/or scrap of service materials that are in excess or obsolete. Work with service planners on NPI (New Product Introduction) to determine the setup of new part numbers, new target and reorder quantity. Supporting EOL by working with purchasing to complete last time buy or engineer to quality replacement. Provide updates on key performance indicators and escalations on weekly governance forums. Lead and improve global service planning team and processes for APAC, EMEA and AMERICAS. Cultivate and nurture a team that demonstrates strong work behaviors, while promoting a culture of growth and inclusivity. Facilitate service process improvement and enable team members to initiate and lead improvement projects. Qualifications Education : University/bachelor’s Degree. Requires 4-6 Years Work Experience. Experience and Skills: Required: ERP System experience. Data analytics capabilities. Self-starter, highly motivated, and able to see problems and recommend or take appropriate actions to solve them, ability to work in detail and be result oriented. Preferred: SAP, APO, OMP, Data Guru or BW knowledge. Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities. Familiar with FDA, cGMP, CE and other Medical Device Industry regulations and requirements. Familiarity or experience with lean, six sigma (i.e. DMAIC), and other continuous improvement methodologies Self-starter, highly motivated, and able to see problems and recommend or take appropriate actions to solve them, ability to work in detail and be result oriented. Medical devise background preferred. Other: Excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language. This position may travel up to 10%. Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt preferred. Experience with Lean/Six Sigma problem solving tools may be considered.
