Position Title: Purchasing and Inventory Manager
Company: AccuSpray
Location: 525 Maxtown Rd, Westerville OH 43082
Shift: First (8 Hours)
Hours: 8 am - 4 pm
Job Responsibilities
Develop and implement purchasing strategies in alignment with company goals.
Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure optimal pricing and terms.
Monitor inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
Oversee the purchase order process, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of goods.
Analyze inventory data to identify trends and make informed purchasing decisions.
Conduct regular audits of inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Coordinate with logistics and tech teams to optimize storage and distribution.
Prepare and present inventory and purchasing reports to senior management
Manage budget for the purchasing and inventory department, ensuring cost-effective operations.
Assist in the preparation and distribution of production schedules and work orders.
Maintain and update manufacturing records and databases.
Coordinate with different departments to ensure the timely flow of materials and information.
Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence related to production processes.
Create and maintain inventory management by tracking stock levels and ordering supplies as needed.
Prepare and submit reports on production activities and performance metrics.
Assist in organizing meetings and preparing agendas and minutes.
Provide administrative support to the manufacturing team, including data entry and filing.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in documentation.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field
Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of inventory management software and ERP systems
Excellent negotiation and supplier relationship management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP and QuickBooks
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of market research, data analysis, and purchasing best practices
Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
Ability to forecast inventory needs and manage budget constraints
Understanding of supply chain procedures and logistics
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
