Overview

Bon Appetit is hiring immediately for a part time Cashier position at the California Institute of the Arts - 24700 Mcbean Parkway. This role requires experience in cashiering and provides part-time hours.

Responsibilities

• Performs sales transactions in a timely fashion and records purchases accurately.
• Enters all sales into the cash register; makes change and issues receipts.
• Handles various payment methods, including declining balance cards; processes refunds per standard procedures.
• Interacts with customers in a friendly, service-oriented manner and resolves issues.
• Manages assigned change funds and cash receipts in compliance with overage/shortage standards.
• Maintains sanitation and cleanliness of service areas; replenishes condiments, beverages, and general supplies; keeps pastry case stocked.
• Ensures compliance with company service standards, inventory, cash control procedures, and sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous cashier experience preferred.
• Ability to perform essential duties of the role with or without reasonable accommodation.

Schedule and Compensation

• Schedule: Part time; Friday - Sunday. Hours may vary; details provided at interview.
• Pay Rate: $17.85 per hour.
