Job Description

JB courier is IMMEDIATELY HIRING for full-time FedEx CDL A Driver out of Anniston-Birmingham, AL to drive FedEx delivery routes.

Experience as a CDL A Truck Driver? Perfect. Have you driven for FedEx or similar companies? Even better.

Route Details:

  • Schedule Options:
    • Full-Time: 5 days/week (off-peak), 6 days/week during peak (Oct-Jan)
  • Average Weekly Miles: 2,000-2,500
  • Shift Details:
    • Dispatch: 7-9 AM starts; finishing ~5-7 PM
  • Route Details:
    • Home Daily: Double turns out of Anniston/Birmingham into Marietta and Ellenwood.
Benefits for a CDL A Truck Driver:
  • Competitive Weekly Pay: $1,120-$1,400+
  • Pay Breakdown:
    • Starting Rate: $0.56 CPM
    • After 90 Days: $0.58 CPM
    • After 1 Year: $0.60 CPM
    • After 2 Years: $0.62 CPM

Minimum CDL A Truck Driver Qualifications include:
  • Class A Commercial Driver's License
  • Valid work history for the past 10 years
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English
  • Doubles Endorsement Required
  • Must have at least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years, 5 years of experience within the last 10 years, or 6 months of experience with a FedEx-approved driving school
  • Must be able to pass DOT physical, pre-employment background, and drug screen
  • No revoked or suspended license, DUI, DWI, or reckless driving violations.
  • MVR: no more than two moving violations in the last 36 months
