- End Date: January 5, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1880-$2020
- Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts with on-call requirements
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Montana Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum 18 months of recent RN experience (at least 1 year in the Operating Room)
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Bachelor's, Associate's, or Diploma)
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification
- ACLS certification (must obtain within 6 months of hire)
- Preferred: Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) credential
- Preferred: 1 year circulating nurse experience
- Preferred: 1 year scrub nurse experience
- Must reside at least 90 miles from the Bozeman facility
OR RN Responsibilities
- Collect and assess comprehensive patient data relevant to surgical and perioperative care
- Analyze assessment data to determine nursing diagnoses and patient needs
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care for surgical patients
- Promote patient safety and employ evidence-based strategies in the operating room
- Enhance the quality and effectiveness of clinical nursing practice
- Evaluate nursing practice in accordance with professional standards and hospital guidelines
- Collaborate with patients, families, surgeons, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
- Integrate ethical principles and current research into perioperative nursing practice
- Provide leadership and mentorship within the clinical setting
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and ongoing stroke competency education
