Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Carbondale, IL 62901 (Southern Illinois healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: September 29, 2025
• End Date: December 29, 2025
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts; on-call rotation required
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,310 - $2,470

CVOR RN Qualifications

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• ACLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) or Operating Room RN experience
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills

CVOR Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
• Assist with cardiovascular surgical procedures and ensure patient safety throughout the perioperative process
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status and vital signs
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals
• Participate in on-call rotation as required for surgical cases
• Maintain a sterile, safe, and organized environment in compliance with hospital and nursing protocols
