Job Details

  • Location: Manchester, NH 03102 (New Hampshire healthcare jobs)
  • Facility Setting: Main Hospital Operating Room (OR)
  • Assignment Length: 13-week contract (November 17, 2025 – February 16, 2026)
  • Shift: 10-hour days (6:45 AM – 5:15 PM)
  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,370 - $2,430
  • On-Call: Rotating end-of-shift short call and occasional Friday/Saturday overnight call (shared among OR nursing team)
  • Patient Ratio: 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
  • Unit: 10 operating rooms in a 330-bed hospital
  • Technology: DaVinci Robot, Endovascular Suite, Neurospine microscope, hysteroscopy pump
  • EMR: Altera electronic medical records
  • Dress Code: OR scrubs provided

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New Hampshire RN license preferred)
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience
  • Experience in orthopedics, total joints, general surgery, robotics, endovascular procedures, urology, and neuro preferred
  • Strong clinical communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to participate in rotating call schedule as required

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct patient care in the operating room, maintaining a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
  • Assist with a wide range of surgical procedures: orthopedic, robotics, gynecology, urology, vascular, endovascular, and neuro cases
  • Collaborate with surgeons, surgical technologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Operate and monitor advanced surgical equipment and technology
  • Accurately document patient care using Altera EMR system
  • Participate in rotating call coverage as assigned to support the surgical team
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented environment with a "work hard, play nice" attitude
