Overview Lead Technical Designer, Global Football - Chassis. The Global Football Chassis team develops seasonal silhouettes that are adopted by our licensed partners to perform on a global stage. The Lead Technical Designer will collaborate with Design, Product Management, Product Creation Center (Asia), materials and manufacturing to effectively execute on product development and fit goals deliverables. Onsite: Mon-Thu, Fri WFH. Start date: November 10. Responsibilities Create and revise Tech Packs for complex assigned styles and ensure all documentation is maintained including product specs and prototype notes. Drive and execute fit and construction standards for a team or product group to ensure consistency. Monitor and communicate progress and challenges throughout the product testing process to meet product integrity requirements. Lead fit sessions in house or on-site, and be comfortable presenting to an audience. Track and facilitate prototyping for styles leading to on-time development and delivery according to critical dates, product specification, sustainability, performance and profitability goals. Stay aligned with market trends, team goals, new technologies and consumer needs throughout development, ensuring projects meet corporate guidelines and goals for all facets of product creation. Translate creative sketches from designers to technical drawings for cut-and-sew expression; work with licensing teams (e.g., soccer team logos, graphics). Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in technical design, textile science or related field; 8+ years in apparel technical design including development from inception through production (pattern making, grading, construction, materials, costing, manufacturing and quality). Expert in writing product specs and construction standards instructions. Ability to manage multiple projects. Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, CAD Pattern Design software (Optitex) and 3D software (Clo / Browzwear); MS Office.
