Adecco is currently assisting one of its clients in their search for a MES Implementation IT Support Specialist 1
Pay range: $30 - $33/hr.
Shift availability: Onsite; initial training will be at the business center and then they will be going to the plant - OLATHE KS 66061.
8hr shift (rotating to provide 24x7 coverage when factory starts continuous production)
Mainly the need is 1st and 2nd shift (starting with only 1st and 2nd shift and then will add 3rd later)
• 1st shift: 6:30-2:30 • 2nd shift: 2PM- 10PM • 3rd shift: 10 PM - 7 AM

Job Summary:
This is an opportunity to support a new factory start producing EV batteries and learn MES operations in the process.
We are building a new giga factory in KS; we are needing some support folks to configure system and work with people on the floor to fix issues or to escalate issues.
Manufacturing implementation support experience.
Someone who is able to work with lots of people in a high-profile environment.
We are deploying our Connect product for PECNA for their new location.
Will have to show the system to operators. This is on the floor IT support at the plant.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in IT support, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Prior exposure to MES platforms (e.g., Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk, GE Proficy, Wonderware/MES, etc.) is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows and shop floor automation systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work in production environments and flexible shifts during critical phases of implementation.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
• Familiarity with SCADA, PLC systems, or IoT devices.
• Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies or digital transformation projects.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma practices.
Working Conditions
• May require on-site presence in manufacturing areas.
• Occasional evening/weekend availability during system rollout or maintenance windows.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled MES Implementation IT Support Specialist to assist in the deployment, support, and maintenance of our Manufacturing Execution System.
This role will involve working closely with IT teams, Business, production staff, and the Production Technical team to ensure the successful implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of MES solutions within our manufacturing operations.
Essential Duties: Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the installation, configuration, and testing of MES software.
• Provide technical support during all phases of MES implementation, including UAT (User Acceptance Testing), Go-Live, and post-implementation
• Serve as the first point of contact for MES-related issues from production and engineering teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering) to ensure smooth data integration and system performance.
• Support real-time data collection, monitoring, and troubleshooting of MES applications.
• Document standard operating procedures (SOPs), configurations, and support guides.
• Escalate issues to MES Support and development teams or customer integration teams as required.
• Participate in user training and onboarding related to MES usage.
• Create Jira ticket with clear issues and success criteria.
• Monitor system performance, logs, and alerts; implement optimizations when needed
