Mobis North America, LLC
Design and develop mechanical components for electric vehicle (EV) powertrain systems, including traction motors, inverters, DC-DC converters, and battery enclosures, with a focus on thermal management, structural performance, and manufacturability; perform tolerance analysis, stress analysis, and thermal modeling using CAD and CAE tools to validate designs under varying operating conditions; collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper integration of mechanical systems with electrical and software components; support prototype fabrication, lead mechanical testing, and incorporate feedback into iterative design improvements; coordinate with suppliers to assess feasibility, cost, and production readiness; investigate field issues, analyze root causes, and propose design or process modifications; and prepare detailed 2D and 3D documentation and submit engineering change requests in compliance with internal standards and customer specifications.
Requirements: Masters degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a closely related field, and at least 1 year of experience
