Overview
Skyridge Valley Dental Care is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team. Location: Lehi, Utah 84043. Full-time; Monday-Friday 7:45-5:00; No weekends. Competitive pay based on experience and certifications.

What You’ll Do
- Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey, sustain patient comfort, and provide appropriate education throughout treatment
- Conduct a thorough review of the patient’s health history to support quality care
- Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography, etc.)
- Provide superior chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) to supported dentists during a wide variety of procedures in accordance with the state dental practice act
- Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping
- Prepare treatment room with strict adherence to safety protocols and following OSHA & CDC recommendations
- Manage supply and inventory levels, and place/expedite orders as needed
- Partner with providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a dental assistant strongly preferred; ability to train a newly graduated dental assistant that holds required UT certifications
- Willing and able to communicate clearly and effectively
- Ability to collaborate closely with doctors
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities, including ordering, OSHA management, hygiene assist
- Dentrix or other dental software experience
- Dental assisting school certification in UT required
- Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment
- Outgoing, team player, self-starter, and eager to learn
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- PHI access restricted to job-related purposes; regular HIPAA training required; data safeguards
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
- Occasional lifting up to 45 pounds
- Availability to attend virtual or in-person training periodically
- TB test required for all new hires in dental office positions (not applicable in FL & TN)
