Smiling from Open to Close (Pay Rate $18.00-24.00 per hour)

Wednesday and Thursday 7:30am-5pm

Compensation

Base pay range: $18.00/hr - $24.00/hr

Responsibilities

  • Dental Assistant partners with the practice team to provide excellent clinical support to help patients get the care they need. Dental Assistant will help prepare the patient for treatment and assist the dentist in restorative dentistry.
  • Exposes and develops dental diagnostic radiographs.
  • Charts and reviews patient health history, makes chart entries under the doctor's direction, and ensures completion of forms and signatures in dental software.
  • Reviews the daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments.
  • Prepares patients, sterilizes and disinfects instruments, sets up instrument trays, maintains asepsis, prepares materials, and assists dentists during dental procedures following OSHA guidelines.
  • Follows OSHA regulations and safety requirements, including HIPAA guidelines, CPR, X-rays, and other required certifications and registrations.

Qualifications

  • Dental Assisting Certification or prior on the job training
  • 1-5 years of experience preferred; will consider new graduates
  • Radiography/X-RAY certification for the respective state
  • CPR Certification required
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Commitment to providing exceptional service, support, and education to patients
