Job Summary and Responsibilities

• You\'ll be at the forefront of blood collection and specimen processing, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and a positive experience for every patient.
• Perform Expert Collections: Masterfully execute venous and capillary punctures on all patient age groups, including critical Blood Bank collections, adhering to precise protocols and volume requirements.
• Prioritize Patient Experience: Practice positive patient identification and embody \"HumanKindness\" in every interaction, fostering a courteous and supportive environment for patients and colleagues.
• Optimize Workflow: Efficiently process and distribute specimens, meticulously maintain phlebotomy stations, and organize draw requests to ensure rapid turnaround times.
• Champion Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to isolation, hand sanitization, and all blood collection procedures, maintaining the highest standards of safety and sample integrity.
• Collaborate & Support: Contribute to a positive team atmosphere, assist with training, and use sound judgment in problem-solving.

Job Requirements

Required Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED.

Required Licensure & Certifications

• State-Specific Phlebotomy Certification/License (as applicable to state of practice).
• Basic Life Support (BLS-CPR) Certification: Required upon hire or transfer.
