Responsibilities
- Verify merchandise received against receiving documents; note and report discrepancies and obvious damages.
- Stock shelves with various types of merchandise and rotate stock so newly received items can be used last.
- Process packing by completing patient orders, placing prescriptions and paperwork into shipping bags using a computer and automated bagger.
- Prepare mail and manifest for US mail or UPS shipments (overnight delivery when applicable).
- Assist with sortation by staging prescriptions for automated sorting.
- Print tote manifest documentation and prepare nightly driver manifest for trucks picking up totes from Central Fill.
- Load finished totes to designated areas for pickup (staging).
- Perform daily cycle counts as directed and research discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area to prevent injuries and ensure merchandise remains in good condition.
- Comply with all applicable policies, procedures and safety rules as defined by State Board of Pharmacy and DEA regulations.
- Work overtime when necessary and participate in physical inventory.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Experience and Educational Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; normally at least one year of related work experience.
Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Ability to read and understand English to compare and read product descriptions, names and shelf labels.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem‑solving skills; detail oriented.
- Good judgment to follow detailed instructions; basic computer knowledge preferred.
- Ability to operate equipment such as reach trucks, pickers, forklifts, etc. (20'–40' reach).
- Ability to help train and assist associates when needed; must be a team player with effective communication.
- Maintain appropriate attendance standards.

Salary
Salary range: $33,100 – $48,950 per year. This reflects national averages; actual range may vary by location. State‑specific locations may differ by up to 10% lower or 12% higher than the listed range.
