Compensation & Benefits: Base Salary: $90,000 – $115,000 per annum. Bonus: Annual performance-based bonus. Employee Discount: 10% on all company products and services. Paid Time Off: 10 days of vacation + 11 paid statutory California holidays.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to manage all aspects of the company’s warehouse operations. This individual will be responsible for managing the receipt of inventory, deliveries to stores, inventory management, and the maintenance of the warehouse. Grocery, Produce, and retail logistics experience are required.

This is a high-impact role with interaction with senior leadership, offering potential for advancement to the Operations Manager position within two years.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Inventory Receiving:
  • Check and validate all inventory arriving at the warehouse and reconcile SKUs with the Bill of Lading and supplier/vendor invoices.
  • Enter all inventory into the Warehouse Management System (WMS), including expiry date and warehouse shelf location.
  • Separate damaged or unordered products for return with proper documentation.
  • Ensure safe and efficient placement of inventory into warehouse racks.
  1. Inventory Accounting:
  • Conduct monthly inventory counts and reconcile with WMS data.
  • Investigate discrepancies and implement process improvements.
  • Monitor expiry dates and coordinate shipments to prevent stock loss.
  1. Inventory Deliveries:
  • Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to stores.
  • Liaise with store teams to address delivery issues.
  • Manage the company truck fleet for efficient operations and inventory safety.
  1. Safety, Compliance, and Administration:
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and well-maintained workplace.
  • Ensure safety protocols and machinery maintenance.
  • Comply with all relevant regulations and perform administrative duties including hiring, payroll, and inventory reporting.
  1. Leadership & Strategic Contribution:
  • Report to the President and CEO on warehouse operations.
  • Support financial performance and growth strategies.
  • Engage with senior leadership to monitor performance versus budgets.

Qualifications:

  • Forklift and top picker certifications.
  • Minimum 5 years of warehouse supervisor experience, preferably in retail, grocery, or produce sectors.
  • Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Fishbowl) and payroll/scheduling software (e.g., ADP, QuickBooks Time).
