Overview

Warehouse Associate at The Parts Authority (IMC/PARTS AUTHORITY) in our new Pompano Beach Super-Warehouse. We offer promotable career advancement and job stability. Hourly rate - $15.50.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, processing, labeling, and storing incoming stock.
• Maintaining clear records on all inventory and stock.
• Scanning items into the warehouse management system.
• Inspecting stock for damages and keeping records of damages.
• Organizing the warehouse space.
• Preparing and picking orders for shipment.
• Recording exact arrival and departure times for shipments.
• Operating stock management tools (e.g., powered industrial equipment and pallet jacks).
• Counting stock and keeping inventory records.
• Routine cleaning duties.
• Interface with management to ensure key objectives are realized.
• Maintain safety regulations and compliance with all applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal.
• Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements.
• Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move objects 10-50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
• Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach; may require sitting and climbing (ladders/stairs) or balance.
• May be subject to environmental conditions; protection from weather but not necessarily from temperature changes.
• Ability to work in narrow aisles or passageways; specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
• Attention to detail; strong communication and time management skills; ability to work well under pressure.
• Open availability, flexible to work various shifts and overtime.
• 1-2 years warehouse experience preferred; familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse; maintain and promote workplace safety.
• Ability to secure and transfer cash or other assets (as applicable).
