The Warehouse Supervisor will be a key member of the Supply Chain Team. The role will manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse and supervise Material Logistics Associates. This position is responsible for a variety of tasks related to the storage and distribution of goods. Material movement may occur with the use of pallet jacks, forklifts, cranes, or carts. Candidates should be prepared to lift and carry boxes up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions as necessary. This role will also help support other teams as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures governing the receipt, storage and distribution of materials, equipment and/or supplies.
  • Directs work and assists to ensure that the warehouse team meets quality standards and operates efficiently.
  • Manage the receiving and inspection of incoming shipments to ensure they match the purchase order and meet quality standards.
  • Oversee inventory control through physical counts and verification against warehousing systems.
  • Support the organization’s supply chain strategy through maintenance of appropriate inventory levels and timely distribution of goods.
  • Ensure material is stocked safely and organized using appropriate equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
  • Maintain inventory tracking systems for all supply chain-controlled inventory.
  • Inspect shipments for accuracy and ensure packaging is secure and meets required standards.
  • Ensure that the kitting process and kit orders are complete and match the kit list on the work order to issue parts/components to production for active builds.
  • Ensure products are packaged in a timely manner for shipment.
  • Ensure warehouse operations comply with safety and regulations governing material handling, storage and distribution where applicable.
  • Assist in loading and unloading of trucks and other vehicles for incoming and outgoing shipments as needed.
  • Maintain and manage outdoor yard space and deconflict outdoor space as needed.
  • Supervise scrap/disposition, recycling and waste management within warehouse and yard spaces.
  • Report safety concerns or incidents to the Supply Chain Manager and Health & Safety Officer, implementing risk mitigation measures within warehouse and yard spaces.
  • Train and onboard new Material Logistics Associates.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Education And Work Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years of leadership experience.
  • Previous experience with Inventory Systems/ERPs (NetSuite a plus).
  • Forklift certification.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.

Salary

$27.00 - $31.00 /hour
