Aliya Healthcare is seeking a friendly and professional Part-Time Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for residents, families, and visitors, helping create a welcoming environment while supporting daily office operations.

Base pay range

$19.00/hr - $21.00/hr

Lead Receptionist Duties

  • Operates telephone switchboard to answer, screen and forward calls, provide information and take messages. Ensure the messages are given to the intended recipient.
  • Performs general administrative tasks: word processing, data entry and making phone calls for department heads upon request.
  • Assists residents, family members, employees and other visitors as needed.
  • Maintains security by following procedures and controlling access (e.g., monitor logbook, verify who visitors are, and check PCC to confirm patient in building).
  • Receive and process daily mail/deliveries/couriers/equipment. Record deliveries on the log and distribute to the appropriate party.
  • Maintain Front Desk Daily notes spreadsheet with entries for Time & Attendance, Deliveries, Salon Money Collections, and patient visit/appointment sign-ins and outs.
  • Maintain receptionist schedule and cover gaps as needed to ensure front desk coverage during working hours.
  • Submit the completed monthly reception schedule for the following month by the third Friday of each month.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Receptionist Qualifications

  • High-school diploma or equivalent (minimum).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Resourceful, tactful, and proactive in dealing with issues.
