Overview
Project Manager - Hardware Electrical Engineering. We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our team with experience in Jira for hardware systems. This hire will be the go-to person for setting up and managing projects in Jira Software, ensuring our engineering teams have the structure, tools, and reporting they need to deliver high-quality results. Several hardware projects are in progress; medical device experience is preferable.
What You’ll Do:
- Jira Expert: Set up and manage Jira Software projects to support hardware electrical engineering teams.
- Partner with engineers, program management, and leadership to streamline processes, track progress, and provide clear visibility into project performance.
- Create and maintain dashboards, workflows, and reports that give leadership visibility into project status and risks.
- Consolidate project updates into clear portfolio- and program-level reporting and lead process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide guidance and training to project teams on Jira best practices and other collaboration tools.
What you’ll bring:
- Minimum requirements: 8-14 years of project management experience depending on degree (EE, Project Management, Business, Computer Science, etc.).
- Master’s degree (MBA) or equivalent; proven hands-on experience developing and managing projects in Jira Software — workflows, dashboards, reporting, and integrations.
- Background supporting hardware electrical engineering projects or other technical product development efforts.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
- Comfortable balancing day-to-day project tracking with long-term process improvement. Preferred: Medical Device industry experience.
